Client Services is a team of versatile marketers charged with driving growth and retention of our clients and R/GA’s business. We represent the day-to-day strategic business partners and advisors to our clients and serve as the catalyst for innovative work across all departments and capabilities inside R/GA. At R/GA, the Client Services team sits at the heart of all the work we do for our clients, who look to us to lead our integrated agency team as an extension of their client teams. We are not just “account people.” Our people are expected to think, behave and function like CMOs, regardless of their title or level. That requires becoming intimate with all aspects of the client’s business, beyond just the work they hire us to do for them day-to-day. We are T-shaped entrepreneurs who treat our client’s business like it’s our own. We represent the client’s voice inside the agency (when our clients are at their best), while keeping an objective perspective on what’s right for the client’s business and what will exceed their goals. We’re equal parts business partner, strategic marketer, connector, entrepreneur and trusted advisor.


On any given day you might

  • Oversee an account or multiple business units for a client
  • Play key supporting role in sustaining account growth, diversification and profitability
  • Play an influential role in managing client relationship health, client satisfaction, and sustained year-over-
  • year client retention for his/her designated clients
  • Function as a strategic business partner, advisor and relationship lead for director and/or manager-level
  • clients on her/his designated account
  • Support the efforts to qualify, assess and focus new business and new project opportunities
  • Use data to provide a sharp marketing perspective and add strategic value at every step of the creative
  • process, on both new and existing clients
  • Serve as a key catalyst for his/her accounts. Inspires and challenges our integrated teams to deliver best-
  • in-class strategy and creative ideas and IP for our clients
  • Supervise, develop, train and manage performance reviews of Client Services direct reports in the Group
  • Partner and collaborate with all department and capability peers and working teams inside designated
  • Group and/or across the US and global network to create smart, innovative marketing programs and
  • creative work that delivers results
  • Work closely with Production leadership to ensure flawless execution of programs across the account.


The ideal person

  • Has experience managing client engagements at a creatively driven agency, a client-side marketer, a start-up, and/or a technology or media platform company
  • Is comfortable working amongst integrated teams in fast-paced, creative environment
  • Exhibits passion and curiosity for digital marketing and emerging trends in social, mobile, product and
  • service innovation
  • Has proven to be a strong contributor to creating and delivering an effective presentation


You Bring

  • A minimum of 5 years of account management and/or marketing experience in an integrated marketing and/or digitally led marketing capacity
  • Experience in multi-channel, integrated work that demonstrates his/her versatility as a marketer and business leader
  • Experience supporting data-driven and performance-driven marketing programs. A knowledge and appreciation for how to apply data and analytics to the business
  • Strong aptitude for the role and impact of digital media and platforms
  • Exposure to a diverse mix of industry category verticals is a plus
