Our Human Resources Business Partners are strategic consultants to our leaders and community. They use their expertise of the business, our people, and human resources operations to ideate and execute initiatives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and results-driven environment.

 

Here’s what you should know if you want to be an HR Business Partner:

On any given day you might

 

  • Identify talent issues and solutions to business problems
  • Consult, advise and coach managers on various people issues, such as organizational design, curating teams, talent assessment, recognition, compensation, employee relations, and change management
  • Develop and implement talent policies, processes, and programs that solve needs of the agency.
  • Strategize, market and implement people programs to help attract, retain and develop a diverse workforce
  • Manage special projects, such as global mobility, performance management and corporate social responsibility
  • Apply your understanding of the business and our people to execute HR solutions including seamless onboarding, a management coaching series, retention and exit interviews, and/or other key people processes
  • Collaborate with other HR Business Partners and HR Operations team to share information real-time and collaborate effectively
  • Partner with other enablement functions like Office Services, Finance, Resource Management, and Recruitment on talent and business operations management
  • Develop and analyze people data to develop insights and recommendations that drive the business

  • Has communication skills that demonstrate service orientation, fosters deep trust with partners, and exhibits authority without ego
  • Can handle complex employee relations issues
  • Has experience with performance management, compensation, management coaching, and process improvement
  • Uses research methods effectively, including data collection, diagnostics, and analytical skills

 

You bring

  • 7+ years’ human resources experience, including experience consulting with senior leaders
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
